Heard this via Twitter. He was lifted for a pinch runner. I'm not sure if this is true or not. It really doesn't make sense not that they're getting Berkman.

I guess I like the move. He's very cheap and a good LF defensively. He can give Swisher some time off in the field if he wants to play some DH. Offensively, Keanes is nothing special, but he's defiantly an upgrade over Colin Curtis.

So they aren't getting Berkman? I guess they've dropped out of the Dunn race too?
