About

Signature Sports was born in late 2007. It did not take long for the new forum to endure a chain of success.

Hundreds of people regularly posted at the original forum. After careful negotiations, Signature Sports merged with Full Court Press (formerly The Sports Press) and began operation under the Invision Power Board platform on February 16, 2008. This was one day after the new staff was assembled and began working on the upgraded board.

The first evening of the SS on IPB’s existence ushered in a wealth of success. That night drew in over 1,000 posts. After three and a half days, over 100 members were frequenting the “new” forum. The success continues to pour on to this day, as over 1,500 members and 500,000 posts have come about since that mid-February night.

Two other merges have occurred in that time frame, as well. Hall of Fame Sport merged over to Signature Sports in January 2009. Later that year, New England Sports 24/7 decided to also join forces. Many former and present-day members and staff are at Signature Sports today due to these two merges.

Many members, affiliates, and staff have put time and energy into Signature Sports at some point. Many of these same people are still at the grand forum. While it is great that this number of individuals is so overwhelming, there is unfortunately not enough room on this page to mention each and every person. However, note that Signature Sports takes excellent pride and gratitude in everybody’s work towards making the site what it is today.

Spring 2010 brought upon another great feature to Signature Sports. The new blog is another testament to the longevity and quality that one considers when thinking about the Signature Sports brand.
